I have been teaching history at West Morris Central since 2002. I earned my bachelor's degree in history from Rutgers College and my M.Ed. in Social Studies Education from the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University.
I strive to help my students grow in their appreciation of the importance of history and their understanding of how it has shaped the world in which we live in today.
In class I encourage my students to actively discover history and make their own judgments about the past by analyzing primary source images and documents and evaluating different historical interpretations. Throughout the year, my students can expect to actively participate in debates, discussions, group presentations, and projects.
