This is my sixth year here at West Morris Central. I have taught U.S. History 1 Honors, Advanced, and Academic, as well as three upperclassmen electives: Sociology, Anthropology, and American Legal Systems. My passion lies in teaching history and the world around us through the lens of the the unsung heroes and most importantly, educating my students about injustice and empowering them with the necessary tools to make change.
Outside of the classroom, I am an assistant field hockey coach here at WMC, and I also advise the Future Educators Club, as well as co-advise the Gay-Straight Alliance and the Freshman Class Council. I am also a Teacher Tech Trainer in our history department.
My PowerSchool Learning pages contain all necessary information for class, including class notes, powerpoints, handouts, and assignments. Announcements will be made through PSL and will arrive in your school email - please check it!
I am available for extra help on Tuesdays after school in C125 and by appointment. I am also in the library period 3, and am free periods 4 and 5.
"It's the action, not the fruit of the action, that's important. You have to do the right thing. It may not be in your power, may not be in your time, that there'll be any fruit. But that doesn't mean you stop doing the right thing. You may never know what results come of your action, but if you do nothing there will be no result."
"History, despite its wrenching pain, cannot be unlived, but if faced with courage, need not be lived again."
